Workshop on Offshore Accident Investigation and Reporting (22nd-23rd September 2015, Nicosia, Cyprus)

This Workshop - organized jointly by the Joint Research Centre and the Cypriot Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance - Department of Labour Inspection (DLI), and supported by the Commission's Directorate General for Energy (ENER) - will provide a forum for the experts of the national regulatory authorities of EUOAG only to exchange information on the practices and procedures followed during accident investigations on offshore oil and gas installations. The Workshop will also serve as a platform to show the latest developments of the software tool for reporting offshore accidental events.

Workshop on European Practices in the Assessment of Major Hazards documentation and the Acceptability of Risk (20th-21st October 2014, Siracusa, Italy)

This Workshop - organized jointly by the Joint Research Centre and the Italian Ministry for Economic Development - Directorate General for Mineral and Energy Resources (MiSE-DGRME), and supported by the Commission's Directorate General for Energy (ENER) - intended to provide a forum for the experts of the national regulatory authorities and the industry to exchange information on the practices related to the content, use and assessment of the Major Hazards documentation, as well as the acceptability of relevant risks.

Workshop on Offshore Oil & Gas Safety (4th-5th June 2013, JRC, Ispra, Italy)

The aim of the Workshop is to provide a forum for the regulatory authorities of the Member States (offshore safety inspectors, members of the EU Offshore Authorities Group), industry safety experts and the research community to exchange experience and expertise on regulatory practices, to share knowledge on latest developments in offshore safety technologies, and to work together towards the successful implementation of the provisions of the recently agreed Offshore Safety Directive.
